Come see the theatre production of Chelsea’s Choice in Sawston

I invite you to book a place on the  free showing of the Theatre Production “Chelsea’s Choice” this Thursday the 3rd March 2016 at The Marven Centre, New Road, Sawston, Cambridge at 7 p.m.

Chelsea’s Choice is a play which tells the  true story of a young girl who is a victim of Child Sexual Exploitation. The play lasts for 40 minutes and is followed by a 30 minute actor led discussion, exploring the themes in the play which include:- Grooming, Internet safety, Healthy Relationships, Substance use, Identifying risky situation and Sexual Exploitation.

The Theatre Production of Chelsea’s Choice  has toured nationally and been commissioned by 24 Local Safeguarding Children Boards (LSCB), including the Cambridgeshire LSCB.  If you want to know more about Chelsea’s Choice and the  Theatre Company performing it, please see

This event will also include 2 talks, one from Gill Hanby the Area Partnership Manager who has been working with myself to set up performances across the whole of South Cambs and City.  The other talk will be from Chief Inspector James Sutherland. This is an ideal way to find out more about Child Sexual Exploitation and raise your awareness.   CSE does happen in our County.
